The minister of Security and Citizen Protection, Alfonso Durazo Montano, met with members of the National Chamber of the Radio and Television Industry (CIRT, for its acronym in Spanish), in order to join efforts to attend the challenges facing this sector in terms of security.

In the private meeting Durazo Montano, accompanied by the president of the Board of Directors of the CIRT, Jose Luis Rodriguez Aguirre, indicated that this collaboration has great potential because the use of media and technology is fundamental in important topics such as combat to addictions.

For this reason, he asked the members of the industry for his help to combat addictions in the country, "we need to define a communication policy that helps and guides the listener on the risks involved in the disorganized or addictive consumption of any drug."
