Once the alignment of the political factors of tourism in Mexico has been identified, it is presented the classification of indicators in its phases of collection, extraction and cleaning of
diverse sources presented in three analyzes.
First Analysis
This analysis was done by taking a sample of 4 Competitiveness Agendas (CA), considering that they contain more indicators that of Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Hermosillo and San Luis
Potosí (Universidad de Guadalajara, February, 2014), (Universidad de Guanajuato, February, 2014), (Universidad Estatal de Sonora, February, 2014), (February, 2014)]. 119 indicators were
extracted from the 9 tourism factors, Tourism Promotion, Tourism Development, Tourism Sustainability, Training and Certification, Accessibility and Infrastructure (facilities and services),
Patrimonial and Physical Security, Promotion and Marketing, Destination Management and Information and Information to the tourist in the AC. In Annex I, these indicators are found with
their code, name, type of indicator source, method of obtaining and attached the type of value.
Second Analysis
A second analysis was carried out, through the relationship between the National Development Plan (NDP) 2013-2018, Tourism Sector Program (TSP) 2013-2018, Identification of Tourist
Potentialities in Regions and Municipalities (Fascicle 8). As well as, the guidelines of the Manual of Indicators Program Magical Towns (PMT) integrating and reclassifying also the
indicators of the Competitiveness Agendas (CA).
This information was classified in the Integral Model of Destination Management, relating the indicators in the 8 components of the tourism sector that defined the Directorate General of
Tourism Destination Management of the Tourism Secretariat.
The classification according to these sources is presented in Annex II.
