Cancun ready to receive more than 600 thousand tourists.

Cancun, Mexico, Dec. 2 (Notimex).- Cancun, the main tourist destination in Mexico, prepares the arrival of around 600 thousand tourists, mainly Americans, Canadians and nationals, who would leave an economic income of 720 million dollars, if each visitor spends in average one thousand 200 dollars, authorities indicated.

The mayor of Benito Juarez, Mara Lezama Espinoza, said that they work in coordination with the police corporations of the different orders of government.

She stressed that it also has the support of military forces, so that visitors are assured that they will have a pleasant stay and that they can enjoy without mishaps with the family.

"We work together with the different orders of government to guarantee a quiet and safe stay for the millions of visitors who come every year to enjoy our beaches," she reiterated.
