Binational radio in Sonora-Arizona border opening announced.

San Luis Rio Colorado, Son., Mexico, Oct. 17 (Notimex).- The binational organization Peasants Without Borders announced the opening of its radio station on November 9, as a space dedicated to social service and information for agricultural workers.

The director of the citizen agency, Emma Torres, said that the transmissions of the radio station will have coverage in Yuma County, Arizona; Valley of Imperial, California; San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora and in the rural valley of Mexicali, Baja California.

In an interview with media, she said they are very excited about what will be the first broadcasts of Radio Sin Fronteras, dedicated to educating the community on both sides of the international boundary.
