Morelia, Mexico, Nov. 27 (Notimex).- The State Forestry Commission (Cofom, for its acronym in Spanish) and the WWF-Telmex Telcel Foundation agreed on the production of one million trees that will be used to reforest the forests of the monarch butterfly.

In a statement, the director of the Cofom, Alejandro Ochoa Figueroa, reported that currently, there is in the state a germplasm bank, a laboratory for the treatment of pests and diseases.

In addition to two modules of high productivity and 16 nurseries, of which six are located in the Oriente region, which is where the million plants agreed in this alliance will be produced.
