Mexico’s Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and National Center for Energy Control (CENACE) Launch Call for Fourth Long-Term Renewable Energy Auction
On March 15, 2018, the CRE and CENACE launched the Fourth Long-Term Renewable Energy Auction. This will be the first long-term auction administered by the CRE, as the previous three auctions were administered by Mexico’s Ministry of Energy (SENER). The goal of the Fourth-Long Term Auction is to introduce an additional 13,000 MW of generation and 38 TWh of clean energy into the Mexican electricity
